Our Mission: Advocating Mississippi Credit Unions’ Success
The Mississippi Credit Union Association (MSCUA) is the state trade association for credit unions in Mississippi. Our focus is on connecting our member credit unions and their professionals and volunteers with the resources to prepare for the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow. MSCUA works to help foster an environment more favorable for credit unions’ success through:
- Advocacy: Strong advocacy protects and supports credit unions.
- Collaboration: Collaboration grows our movement and advances our members.
- Knowledge: Credit unions need the latest information and skills to succeed.
Founded in 1937, MSCUA is owned by its member credit unions and is governed by a twelve-member Board of Directors, elected by, and from, affiliated credit unions in six districts.
MSCUA connects credit unions and their professionals and volunteers with peers, legislators, and consumers through activities that include: advocacy, compliance, education/training, consulting/planning, information, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.
