CU Social Good:
Share your credit union’s good news stories

Many people are not only uninformed about the credit union difference, they are unaware of the very nature of credit unions and their “People Helping People” philosophy. CU Social Good, with the help of credit unions around the country, is aspiring to change that.

CU Social Good is a website developed and managed by the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. The Mississippi Credit Union Association has partnered with CU Social Good to provide Mississippi credit unions access to the site at no cost – any Mississippi credit union can set up their profile and start submitting stories!

CU Social Good wants to capture every story of credit unions at work in their communities. It is the first and only national website dedicated exclusively to telling the story in the aggregate. It collects stories about charitable donations, fundraising activities, financial literacy efforts, volunteer work, and scholarships that credit unions offer and reward. Chapters may also set up an account to report and record their group efforts.

CU Social Good is striving to take credit unions to the next level: Affecting change at the local, state, and national levels by increasing awareness inside and outside of our industry. The success of this website – because of the cooperative nature of credit unions – will help CU Social Good remain successful in their mission for years to come.

Mississippi credit unions are strongly encouraged to contribute their stories! The site even provides reports that allow individual credit unions to track and measure their impact on their community.
