Mutual Credit Union received the Spirit of Vicksburg Award from United Way of West Central Mississippi for “leadership, commitment, and compassion towards our community.”

1st Mississippi FCU celebrates reading, science with local schools

1st Mississippi FCU sponsored Magnolia Middle School student’s registration cost for the upcoming Regional Science and Engineering Fair at Mississippi State University. Jerome Trahan, 1st Mississippi FCU Director of Marketing and Crystal Clark, Marketing Specialist, also went to the campus to meet and visit with the schoolwide Science Fair winners.

In addition, the credit union helped Crestwood, Northeast, and Clarkdale Elementary Schools celebrate Read Across America Week (March 2 – 6, 2024) and the birthday of Dr. Seuss.

Pine Belt FCU helps students learn about careers with credit unions, money management

Pine Belt FCU participated in the Perry Central High School College and Career Expo, helping students learn about careers with credit unions. The credit union’s Victoria Britt, a Credit Union Certified Financial Counselor, was also on hand to meet and talk with students about money management as they prepare for their future.

Keesler FCU assists organization helping homeless community

Keesler FCU recently made a contribution of support to Seashore Mission, and organization assisting the area’s homeless community.  Seashore Mission assists the homeless community with the facilitation of applications for ID cards, housing, employment, hot meals, and basic needs such as clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, tents, hygiene essentials, etc. They also provide resources for mental and physical health needs and shower and laundry services.
